Moulin Mahjoub Organic Tibar Sauce

Tunisia is closer to Italy than one might think, and tomato-based sauces are a traditional Tunisian staple. Much like in Italy, each sauce is region has their own version. This version uses the ingredients of the Tibar region which include tomatoes, harissa, and capers. Incredibly versatile! This sauce is just as satisfying over pasta as it is over couscous. Fantastic base for braising or as an accompaniment to grilled fish, baked chicken, eggplant, and even as a pizza sauce.
