The Merlot that goes into this wine is grown at the Magpie Springs farm in the Hope Valley in Adelaide, S. Australia. The vines are 25 years old. It has sandy soil and is at the top of the of a hill near the ocean with strong ocean breezes. Flavors of juicy red currents, raspberries, and mulberries.
