2023 Leonard Dietrich 'Granite' White Blend

A lively, loosely structured blend of Auxerrois, Sylvaner, Riesling, and Pinot Gris from the granite soils of Dambach-la-Ville. Fermentation was a bit tricky, developing a touch of volatile acidity. Just enough to add lift and energy without overpowering. In mid-2023, it still held around 7g of residual sugar, leading Léo to consider bottling it under a crown cap, but it finished (almost) dry and is now securely corked. This wine is off dry.
