Matchbook Distilling Day Trip Peach Amaro

Applying their local, seasonal and sustainable ethos to this riff on aperitif amaro, the whole fruit of the best and ripest New York peaches were used to create the layers of flavor in this bottle. Starting with a peach wine, the leaves of the fruit then distilled and additional botanicals of quassia, pink peppercorn, rose, and elderflower are macerated in the dsitillate until they are finally blended in with the peach wine. Still light to the touch on the palate and perfect in any style of thirst-quenching spritz, highball or aperitif you could think of.
