2022 Domaine des Grottes 'Vla August' Gamay

A fresh Gamay, made after a single day of maceration on the skins. The winery is located in the village of St Etienne des Ouillieres, south of Brouilly in Beaujolais. The vineyards Demeter certified Biodynamic, are treated as little as possible and when necessary Romain uses preparations from different plants. In the cellar there are no additions, no filtrations and no elevage; just short macerations. A tart lean and fresh Gamay with flavors of nectarine, raspberry and blood orange. Perfect with a little chill.
