Subject to Change Wine Co. Bunch of Herbs Vermouth
The base of this vermouth is Subject to Change wine with added organic herbs, spices and dried fruits. There is no sugar added. Here’s the breakdown:
Grapes: (2021) 62% Hillside Vineyard Zinfandel, 18% Rodnick Vineyard Grenache, 14% Muniz Vineyard Zinfandel/Merlot, (2020) 6% Ciapusci Zinfandel
Organic Botanicals: (Starwest Botanicals) Cinchona Bark, Gentian Root, Dried Orange Peel, Dried Lemon Peel, Cinnamon, Allspice, Madagascar Vanilla, Dried Lavender, Pink Peppercorn, Dried Ginger Root, Clove, Star Anise
Pour 2 ounces over ice (we love one big cube) and add a slice of grapefruit or orange. If you’re not into fruit in your drink just a long strip of the peel will do just fine. If you’re a fan of spritzes you can add tonic water, sparkling water or even a dry sparkling wine. Think of Bunch of Herbs as a replacement for vermouth in classic cocktails like a Manhattan, Negroni, Americano or Martinez. This would be a great substitute for any cocktail requiring a ‘sweet red or rosso vermouth’.
