2021 Julien Pineau 'Chicos' Colombard

2021 was a rough vintage for Julien who lost a majority of his fruit to frost and hail. It left many vignerons scrambling to find fruit in other regions to continue their production. Julien purchased this organic Colombard from Domaine Jeandaugé in Southwest France. The fruit was pressed at the domaine then aged in 50% barrel and 50% tank. Fresh and textural, lots of lemon meringue and pear flavors
