Imported directly from Oaxaca, Mexico, these hand made clay copitas are perfect for sipping mezcal or tequila and make a great addition to your home or bar. A great conversation piece or a one-of-a-kind gift with face detail on one side and agave on the other.
Each copita is made by hand from natural, gathered clays, by a mother-daughter team outside of Oaxaca de Juarez. One type of clay is used to form the vessel and another is used to give the beautiful red coloring. They are then fired over open flame, some cups uniquely marked by wisps of fire; and then burnished by hand, usually with a small stone, to give the finish. Each piece is ethically made with generations of craft and care, bringing you a unique and beautiful way to enjoy mezcal.
